@Gaol Cool sounds, try clearing up that mud & make that snare fatter!

@efekz the intro is dope! love all the synths and you got a sick groove going on

@dubmikey bassline is cool, drums are nice, but I think the intro needs a little work though

I just started this earlier today, what do you guys think of it? how is the sub? I haven't been able to test this tune on my sub today ><

THANKS FOR ALL THE FEEDBACK

@Pyrez cheers mate. really like your wip. i reckon it would be worth rolling some low end off that sort of falling bass sound and maybe change up the synth in the intro. really like the little vocal thing or whatever it is. i think if you work on the mix it should be a banger

@ScarletCyanide nuts track. not normally what i would go for it made me listen. it needs sub. not enough low end imo

@EFEKZ One of the few people on here that know how to handle noisy synth sounds. To be honest, you're being a bit of a cock, constantly not leaving feedback for people. part of the forum rules. makes it work properly. Wouldn't normally leave people feedback if they don't do it for others but i love the track. i reckon you don't need to worry about the melody. bring some more perc in at some point. maybe a couple of chord stabs instead of a melody. fuck knows but i like it. nice work

@DubMikey if you want that type of vibe then change the lead synth after the drop. it ain't doing it for me to be honest. try changing it to a raindrop type sound. put it an octave up and cut back on some of the notes. it might give you something a little more like what you were going for to work from. fuck knows really though.

Fresh new WIP. just a clip. Any feedback appreciated

I kind of feel bad about this being my first post but thats what I get for lurking and just reading all the time. Here's a new song I've been working on that just seems to be missing something, It just comes off as too predictable for me Soundcloud

Any feedback would be good but I'm just glad I'm finally a registered member lol.

Safe! Yeh, Intro is def not strong point. Few people keep mention the bass is too much, which I admit, I didn't mix out any overlapping freq. in that upload, will hopefully have a "2.0" up by the weekend.

@ogunslinger Really good production! You can just check the kick cuz i think its creating some mud in the low end...

@Stanby Nice chilled vibe going on awesome stuff.I think its just as good as a finished tune.

@acidsamurai The intro is very skrillexy if thats what you were going for...The drop wasn't convincing enough though.Dont bring the synth so slow but rather smash it right away and you can add other synths to make the effect more cool or for some variation in the song :)

So here is my first post of a tune. It's actually almost finished but its not mastered.

started new electro track, still needs to be sequenced/mixed ect. Any opinions on the sound or what not?
Soundcloud

@acidsamurai: I usually really love chopped vocals, but your seems not not be in the catchiest arrangements. I like the drop though.

@Standby: I really love the vibe. I feel like I could listen to this loop for a whole day. I feel as if it doesn't even need many other elements or arrangement changes.

@ogunslinger: sounds pretty cool and dark. I love the 909ish high hats.

Cubulo - Nice vocal, percussion sounding dialed in, that arppegiated synth sounds nice too so far everything sounding good. nice clean drop really like this everything works well together yeah as you say needs sequencing and all that but i like it!

hxrtk - drums need bringing out massively, they are so underwhelming, i can see you're idea behind it though and its good just needs a little refining, some nice sound design here too dark and dank!

Standby - nice percs, im rolling with this. cheeky little wobble too i like that. i also like the little sounds in the distance adds so much to it. damn im impressed with this.

very good work from what ive heard, need to vist this forum more often again if this kinda stuff is being put out!

Heres my new one.

@acidsamurai: Really loving that intro! a lot of stuff going on in there, and it works together perfectly :D. For the drop, I think it needs a few more hits or something, to keep the energy going before the snare kicks in( if you put one in later)
@gaol: cool sounds, however i think the kick is a bit too heavy, and the track feels a bit thin at some parts, where theres just the drums. drop is good, I'd suggest a pad or synth during the intro to make it fuller :D
@efeks: intro is sick, the pads and synths feel and sound rally nice :) I'd suggest a couple of pads, white noise sweeps or crashes during the drop to make it feel fuller and thicken up the spectrum. :D

Here's my wip, I made this in a few hours, intro was done in like 2 minutes and I'm replacing it with something better tomo, not been mixed and just started mastering, thoughts? Thanks!

@gaol nice choice of sounds on your drop man, very funky , only thing I personally would like to hear is a bit more in the intro to accompany the transitions, a very good direction to a banging track sir

@EFEKZ Loving the drums and snare of nice, has a very crisp and pounding structure, i like the stereo imaging on your bass, it's a very minimalistic techy vibe, Im really digging it man, can't wait to hear those melodies :)

@Standby the minimalistic vibe is very stellar but grounding, I smoked up to this, it was pleasant, your track is coming up very nicely, keep it up man

@daftendirekt Very nice mixdown man, an amazing intro, the vibe is uplifting and funky, I canèt to hear it once itès finished! Ièm gonna follow you

Hereès my remix of Late Night Alumniès èIn the Ashesè , it has a very zomboy influence on it, I am definitely gonna start equing and processing everything better once I have the time this week, but I am happy of what I made today :) I appreciate anyoneès feedback

@EFEKZ that is so sick. HEAVY.

@ogunslinger I really like the atmosphere.

@acidsamurai I love the "what did you do" sample. The sounds are awesome IMO.

Ok so here is another update of my track.

@E-T-F Growling baseline! Really like what you've done with that. Nice an minimalist, but minimal works well.

@teejayem CLEAN AS FUCK! Love the vocals, they work so well. Nice clean production. I can't fault it at all.

@MaZa1 I'd get a nice kick in there, replace the current one. Can't really comment on the rest as it's to short but it don't sound too bad. This sort of Dubstep is rife at the moment though. It's very hit and miss in the scene I believe. Never the less, nice effort.

Something I've been working on. It's not Dubstep. It's not 2-Step. I don't even know what it is. After being admitted to hospital for mental health I came back out and got what was in my mind off it via music. LMFAO!

Here's my newest WIP. I usually go for more of an ambient style but I went a little more filthy with this one.

hxrtk - get more girth out of your drums

GV1- interesting sound, nice snare.

MaZa1- sounds cool, id say clean it up. you have a really monstrous kick, im not sure if i like it or not, but good design.

edit: tune is finished
