bassline fl studio help
how do i create a heavy 'dubstep' bassline on fruity loops? and if someone can explain it in simple terms i'd much appreciate it

just use the "dubstep" setting and it lays out a whole track for you duh

yeah it has been asked before.. but heres how I do it:
Get the Korg legacy synth...
Use a preset called 'DnB reverse bass'
Use the piano roll to lay out short & long notes. Put the short notes close together (but not overlapping). Vary the length of these, alternating between shorter and longer.
The short notes make the wobble, the longer notes make the 'screech'. Switch the snap to 'none', and move some of the notes slightly, to give a nice swing. Make some of the notes late.
Insert a compressor into your relevant mixer channel (don't overdo it). Sometimes distortion sounds good too.
Also add a LP/BP/whatever filter so you can tweak/automate the sound.

step 1
find a dirty synth take reverse bass for exsample lay out about 4 bars withit on piano roll
Step2
go to cut on the misk pannal right click edit events then simply draw on and oww the cut
Step 3 pitch bend
do the same but with pich so you get a wobble effect

Volume UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
