If you’re a fan of the Butterz label and listen to their weekly Rinse show or attend their events then there’s no doubt you would have heard this feel good track consistently played over the last few months.
Swindle is a producer that has always thought outside the box with his music, drawing his influences from all different genres including grime, dubstep and even funk and soul. This track right here is a blend of exactly that, which has resulted in something that is guaranteed to get everyone’s head bopping no matter what music your into.
On top of the instrumental Swindle calls upon grime veteran and Newham Generals member Footsie and the soulful vocalist Nadia Suliman, who together both complement this track perfectly to create a sound that is pretty much in a league of its own.
As well the title track ‘Ignition’ we also see two other instrumentals on this release including the track ‘Ringworm’, which we’ve witnessed Swindle single-handedly shut down raves with, and ‘Out Of The Blue’ featuring the dubstep duo Stinkahbell.
