Ever since we saw the video for this track, which dropped around Christmas time, we've been counting down the days until its release. Well thankfully we don't have to wait any longer, as the track '1 Spliff' is out now and available to buy from all popular digital outlets.
The track sees Footsie go in with that classic flow, that we all know him best for, over a massive instrumental from True Tiger's Sukh Knight. And if that wasn't enough we also get treated to a Footsie production on the release as well, entitled 'Duppy Mekka'.
The track has been released by Braindead Entertainment, which is owned by Footsie himself and co-run by Kristian, owner of Threefold Media. The label was actually started a while ago now and its original focus was to put out releases from Footsie and Newham General's DJ Tubby, although it never really got going. Well fast forward to the present and the label is now alive and kicking, with two releases under its belt and plenty more to look forward to, so keep your eyes peeled.
