ah, gotcha.

Sick track, JR! I'll just copy my feedback on soundcloud to here, really enjoyed the track:

I really really LOVE that transition to the droppy part of the song. I don't really like that distorted/high attack bass patch. Just my opinion. I'm getting some hip hop vibes from this track, not sure if that was what you were going for, but I love it! My favorite part of the entire track is the perc, you keep it out just enough that it makes me really appreciate when the full perc arrangement does come in, and it's minimal which in this case makes it all the more glorious. The piano in the second part is a nice touch, but the piano in the first part sounded out of place to me. I like the strings, they're great. Overall an amazing track! I geniunely enjoyed listening to this one.

What do you mean by "distorted/high attack bass patch", though? To my knowledge, none of that was in there :?

BTW: ALL the tracks in here are amazingly well done...biggups to everybody who participated!

Not a big deal, just not a huge fan of it like I am of the rest of your track.

It comes in at the "drop" (hesitant to call it that, but you know what I'm talking about). It's that more distorted line that follows the chord line but doesn't quite have the same tonality because it's so distorted. It sounds like it's going through a blender sort of (is that compression or something else?), and I just think it sounds out of place.

I see. I don't want to get rid of that, though, because thats what I based the track on. I'll get rid of some of the disto, then.

I'm leaving all my comments on Soundcloud, seems more convenient. Check your soundclouds people!

that's great and all, but I think the entire point is that you finish it IN A WEEK, DURING THAT WEEK. So start a new, original track on Monday and then you'd be more than welcome to turn it in

I got that part about it being a week,to my knowledge i have no tracks in my collection vocal themed that are near finished anyway so it would need to be a new one that i start.Do i just hand it into the op?

I had a lot of trouble finding inspiration this week, so I had to cram to start AND finish one in one day. :u:

I'd say just have a go at finishing up SOMETHING. You can always set it as a "private" track on Soundcloud, just so we can hear it and comment so that you can finish it up into a good track! :w:

jrisreal -wow this song song is beautiful!!! you are good.
DaeMTHAFKNKim - i liek that melody. finish it its cool and ravey :)
wub - sounds like something that would be played at the end of the night and i feel like im about to pass out and have really good dreams
sonika - really quite nice, dont like the higher pitched wobbly thing?? what you've done with the vocal is very interesting but something about it doesnt sit well
InternetSlaveMaster - the high pitched squeal kills it for me, but thats just a matter of preference i think. like thing you have going at around 2 mins a lot
johney - nice smooth track, might go on a bit too long for me but i like it
Secondstorybasement - i love laser sounds so obvs i like this track
Hircine - very fuck yeah, nice dubb

Yeah I've added you. Make sure you remember to message me your tune by Friday.

Brand new week to start off on.

I added you to the 2nd week roster. You can do it 8)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay I've listened to half of the turned in tunes thoroughly and did feedback. Really good for a week of work!
I'm going to listen to the 2nd half after I take a nap.

Let's make the 2nd week better.

Btw for feedback try to have more details with mixing/add this/take out this/etc. It'll help people improve faster and it'll also be more understanding
