This sample pack is brilliant, so constricting. Making some awesome sounds from it so far.

There were actually more samples in the original pack I compiled, wub (or a mediafire error) must have edited it down.

But glad people seem to like it!

interesting, I had a bunch of 808 samples and a 909 kick which I must have somehow missed out.

Could re-up if people feel strongly about it but happy to leave it as it is.

that`s kind of the point
I'm not doubting it is meant to be a challenge,i was simply stating the pack is a bit empty compared to previous packs. In a way it will be interesting to hear how people process the 1 kik or the 1 break in the pack.

Or people could be really fancy and make their own kick from what is available - waveform shenanigans.

Or....*GASP*...not use the kick at all...

Don't know if anyone has the same problem?
Nope, checked all the samples prior to uploading the pack.
Opened them up in Logic first with no sound coming out of the ones listed above.
Then I opened them up in Reason and I got the "Unsupported Format" error even though they're all wav's.
I got the same thing in reason.... The only way I know to fix it is to open them audacity and export them back into the folder
I'd recommend doing this even if there are no immediately noticeable problems. Everything seemed to work fine, but for some weird reason the cabasa sample locks up my computer when i load it into GA1 in cubase 6.

yea so blah blah blah windows sucks blah blah blah cubase is lame. anyways, after running it through a batch converter it worked fine. maybe the headers got corrupted or something?

dropping 3 or 4 samples into audacity and bouncing them out takes less than a minute

Loving this pack.

I find these competitions really bring out my creativity. Plus, HAVING to make everything out of the samples provided makes me really delve into the depths of the FL sampler. It's amazing what you can do with a little (or a lot of) time stretching.
