First proper tracks

Post by jookboxx » Tue Jan 31, 2012 9:22 pm

So I've been doing a bit of dubstep production since November last year after time engineering for other people and being a musician for numerous years. Got a lot of tracks in the pipework but would really appreciate any feedback on the 2 tracks currently up on my soundcloud - http://soundcloud.com/jookboxx

I love where ur going with the first track. the melody is nice and u switch back and forth pretty smoothly. I would recommend getting some punchier drums and snares to really give it some attitude. and I also think ur wobble is too much to the front in the mono. I would spread that out a tad bit.

Thanks bro, much appreciated feedback. I have been experimenting with double tracking the web and spreading it each side so you has a natural double tracking. Will try and emphasise a bit more once the vocals are in and everything is slotted in more. Also as you mentioned the drums I may raise the level of my parallel compressed drum track to give some extra punch and power

Thanks again for the feedback
