And yeah man, it's even worse when you see shops selling your releases, and you're seeing none of it haha.

All, I can heartily recommend Davwuh's album by the way, quality release.

Piracy is wrong. You should never steal a song, unless it's a zomby tune then no need to pay for it since he probably stole it from someone else already.

Maybe all piracy threads should just be merged into one like with the brostep thread. That way hopefully the arguments wouldn't go on as long at the very least would keep the forum tidy. Also, piracy is fine as long as you are downloading the KLF.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

generally it's a bandwidth issue. where a 6 minute 320k mp3 is ~16mb, a 6 minute wav is what, 60mb?

the more bandwidth a site uses, the more it pays for its servers.

but also because you can cut a wav and it usually sounds better.

Were you expecting to make money selling underground beats? Those days are long gone. It's chump change compared to the vinyl days. It's all about playing shows now. Use your tracks like business cards.. yea? Or.. register with ASCAP, get on some major studio projects and start collecting publishing points! ;)

dooon't even start with Zomby
the shit i had to deal with to support him.

on topic, i download lots and if it wasn't for it i wouldn't know much about anything really. I'm paying my dues by purchasing vinyl online. Every last cent now goes to records. pounds to dollars + shipping increases price tremendously at times. not worrying bout the record player just yet, in due time padawan.
