Roots would just be pretty much early-mid 90s house really, History would be better!

I have asked a few people on this forum "what is Garage to you?" and they all said it was 2-step. So there are obviously a lot of people that do not know Garage history before 2-step.

got a pretty killer tracklist of a 5 year snapshot of the evolution of garage up to the point it began splintering off into dubstep/grime

just need to mix it now...

3: speed garage/4x4
4: 4x4 garage
5: speed garage (but ramsey & fen version is more 4x4 than speed garage imo)

i'd say that's mostly true for me tbh. i love some speed garage but very little other 4x4 garage

sort of... you could say it's a modern take on speed garage but with housey bits
