ATTN: Dubstep Connoisseurs

Post by meshblorg » Sun Jan 29, 2012 11:50 pm

Alright guys settle down. Please hear me out because I truly do want to address your concerns and feedback. I'm not a asshole and it sucks getting told I have shitty taste all the time :(

So I picked up that you guys wish my blog LessThan3 covered more of the classic sub-bass/classic style of dubstep as well as more underground styles like post-dubstep. Well here's your chance guys to spread awareness and appreciation for the kind of dubstep that you enjoy! I know a lot of you spend quite a bit of time on these forums sharing your knowledge about great tracks and the scene. Would you like to write for America's largest electronic music blog? You'll be able to greatly cover and promote the scene and music that you support and believe in 8)

If you're interested so see below:

Can't see what below at the moment, it must be blocked here. But yes, I would be extremely interested. Let me know what I can do, I can probably write a couple articles a week if need be.

Also, I must say, I'm extremely impressed with your desire to get this sound exposed. :Q:

big ups to you for doing this, afraid I can't do much as far as writing for you.
If this is the future, it seems highly livable: shiny, cool and comfortably dissonant. Like a low dose of ketamine in an empty, luminous airport hall in northern Japan, eating avocado and waiting for the universe to arrive.

I just wrote a review of GetDarker This Is Dubstep 2012. If this isn't dubstep than I don't know what to say

Why not just keep pushing the music YOU enjoy? It's your blog man, nobody is forced to read it.

Just keep doing what you do, if people here don't like it, they know to stay away.

Well that is what we do but if we can be more rounded in our coverage and bring our audience the more traditional dubstep as well... I'm all for it ;-)

Thanks man! The "This Is Dubstep 2012" compilation is really getting me into that deep and dark stuff. It's my favorite dubstep compilation and I've been listening to the mixes over and over :)
