And yeah, ironically as soon as Raiden becomes a badass you don't get to play as him. I want to just have a brand new series based on Ocelot in the same chronology where you just go around winning the whole time. Or Major Zero.
Man, getting to play Ocelot would be so fucking cool. Major gun-slinging action. They should be making THIS game instead of Revengeance.

I hear its amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on Hari Kiri Rock. I need scissors! 61!

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

Got the HD collection yesterday.

Obviously 2 & 3 are still awesome, plus from the looks of things 2 has a lot of extended bits, even the intro is a bit different (extra moments/Cut scenes) so looking forward to how it pans out.

3 has got to be my favourite of the whole series, 'The End' sniper battle gotta be one of the best boss fights ever.

Had a quick dip into peacewalker, its quite a departure from the MG you know and love butttttt, mixes things up a bit, bit more of a pick up and play, arcadey feel. Not sure if the port from PSP to Xbox/PS3 works amazingly but cant complain, some new MG to jump on!

it was a bit too 'green' for me. i didn't really like the jungle scenario.
i didn't appreciate the dated technology but yah it was set in the 60s or whatever.

Waiting to get my controller back so I can finally play Mgs4. I've had a ps3 for so long and have barely played it. It's the only game I have haha
Now I can actually hook it up and sneak around!

Imagine MGS when the next gen consoles come out?

3d hologram motion-tracking MGS would be nuts. Reusable branded camo-cumrag included!

I love MGS3. The jungle scenario and dated technology is partly why. Swings and roundabouts.

Hands down my favourite video game series. I'm a bit of a loser when it comes to it really, bought the MGS edition of Risk, and the limited edition of the HD Collection. Never played Peacewalker before, but now i've spent a few days on it love it.

Favourite has to be MGS2 though, back in the day my friend and I had the top time for the clearance codes for a few weeks, and were in the top ten when they compiled the list at the end. Shame they took that website offline really, would love to show it off to a few people now :D

I don't understand why they left the first MGS out of the collection. Best of the series IMO.

4 is my Favorite, because you go back to shadow moses and fight ocelot while hes in RAY and your in REX. Shit was epic. The fight at the very end vs ocelot on top of the metal gear was fucking amazing also.

a demo for mgs2 came with the original release of zone of the enders, which probably accounts for a lot of that first game's sales. i loved that game, though. keep hearing rumors of a zoe 3 so i'm hopeful.

mgs is amazing, though. i really liked the sort of limited scope of the first 2 games, so i wasn't as into 3 and 4 took some getting used to, but i've come around to it a lot after playing more. still haven't beaten 4, though.
