Yeah I got lucky. (Red Member unfortunately)

I always sit on the Corner flag if I can, and get as close to the front as possible.
Fuck sitting in the £100 seats with the plastic fans. North Bank Block 5 or 12, or
Clock End Block 28 if i'm with my little bro (Family enclosure.)

Because I pay for his Junior Gunner membership, the lucky git will become a Silver
member the day he turns 18.

This is my favourite photo... (North Bank Block 12, Row 26)

Emirates Cup vs. NY Red Bulls

RvP steps up for the corner, you can see Henry (if you squint)
and Gervinho too... Was my iPhone pic for AGES.

I was wondering what you football ninjas pay for a standard PL ticket?

I am planning a trip to London to watch some football. I am going with a friend who supports Arsenal.. But their tickets are expensive as fuck if you buy them in Denmark.
If you know where I can get some tickets (that I can actually pay without having to shell out £200) let me know!
If its impossible I am considering going to a championship match instead - Any tips regarding tickets for that would be nice as well.

Thanks!

go watch west ham- its a much more atmospheric ground than arsenal and will be much cheaper- or if you want to go to a small game go to brentfrod, great little ground and probably pay on the gate

Yeah, don't go and watch Arsenal. Sterile ground and atmosphere, not worth the ticket price.

QPR, Millwall, Crystal Palace or West Ham will be a better day out. Spurs if you want to see a top four team, but yeah you may have difficulty buying tickets on the day for them.

QPR at home I would definitely recommend though. Loftus Road is probably my favourite stadium, compact as fuck.

On a Dubstep related note it's a shame how many of the South London pioneers are plastic Man Utd fans!

As an Arsenal fan, it saddens me to say that I agree with all of this post. I love the Emirates, but I don't think it'd be quite the best advert for the rowdy terrace experience!

Palace is probably worth a look too...

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say that, for years, you've been the best manager we've had. You bought a new style into the squad, and it worked fantastically. We've been only getting better since you took over.
Goodbye, Harry.

Sounds like he was asked to make a public apology and said he'd rather quit. Perfect timing with Harry Redknapp being cleared of all charges

Well, I think we're just going for a pub to watch an arsenal game on then ;-)

I will keep Palace in mind.

Mehlovich, I just remembered that QPR tickets are probably the most expensive in England under the current ownership, so yeah maybe avoid them.

I'd say just go and watch Palace or Millwall. Turn up on the day and buy a ticket, it's highly unlikely that either will sell out. Probably looking at £15-25.

Goodbye, Harry.
May have something to do with having the 4th/5th biggest net spend as well though.

Probably wrong, but part of me feels like this has fucked any chances of Harry Redknapp becoming England manager, with Spurs having an eye on the title, can't help but think he'll stay with Spurs, but England will need to have a manager during the run into 2012, and I can't see the general public being happy with him doing it part time.

I feel that Capello has wanted out which is why he made those comments to the Italian press. He will have known that once those comments were made either he or the FA would have to back down and there was only gonna be one winner there. Shame because I did rate him, perhaps a little to stubborn (but thats the pot calling the kettle black).

This is doing the rounds this morning made me chuckle -

Capello sacked his captain for adultery but not for on-pitch racism.

He's an utter tnuc.
