I guess so! I have two sisters that are both within 2 years of my age and I always remember them singing and dancing to this song with there plastic microphones.

I wonder if kids watching Much music ever suspect they're being trolled. If you were in charge of manufacturing pop acts wouldn't you make something like this as a joke to see if people would fall for it? This is like the equivalent of putting a plastic spider on your mom's dinner plate as a prank, but then she doesn't get it and ends up eating the spider.

when i see this kind of thing my initial thoughts are kids will buy ANYTHING

they have no standards whatsoever and the only criteria is whether the music is cool or uncool

in america if i understand it country is always uncool and only 'gangstas' (kids that dress like that) listen to rap

i dont think many people let alone kids are aware of any genres other than rap, country and rock.....obv now 'techno' is taking off so that influence is acceptable

Yeah it seems 'techno' and 'electro' are more famous than ever. The words anyway, but the actual music seems to still be quite unknown to most people.

I've heard of few of their tracks over the years lol, they are essentially the same lyrics and video with progressively slightly better engineered backing instrumentals.
