Multiband Compressor Reccomendations

Post by Tilduh » Thu Feb 09, 2012 8:13 pm

Hey everyone

Does anyone know of any solid, simplistic, low-CPU usage multiband compressors? I'm looking for something similar to the stock Cubase 5 multiband compressor (I am using Ableton and the stock multiband compressor for Ableton is awkwardly layed out to say the least). Right now I'm using the one within Ozone 4 but it's definitely a resource hog and I need multiple instances on separate tracks.

Thank you for any advice!

waves c3/c4/c6 is pretty much the standard, and in my experience it is definitely NOT a resource hog.

Multiband compressors can't be simple or low CPU.
This one is complex, CPU hungry, and costs a lot. But it's simply the best on the market ;-)

The demo is fully functional, but settings can't be recalled...
