I have said it countless times.

Rooted make the effort. Whenever i order online i always feel like i have visted the shop (which i am still to do) as the vinly comes bagged with flyers stickers etc thrown in. Personal emails confirming dispatch...It's all good. It's the little things i guess...Makes the whole experience of buying vinyl online a little less automated.

I'm def paying a visit to the shop next time i'm in Bristol.

:D

Redeye or chemical records as standard.

Tried boomkat a few times, i wish theyd insert carboard stiffners, instead of the white foam material. Plus the records are a lil more expensive and take a day or two longer to arrive. No major problems with them thou.

Chemical.

Redeye second. Boomkat absoutely nowhere because they charge VAT to people outside the EU when they shouldn't, so any USA/Canada crew Boomkat are ripping you off to the tune of 17.5% the cost of every order.

I tend to but from boomkat as I am familiar with their service, I have had no problems. I also use redeye from time to time and also have had no problem.
I also use chemical records, I have had some problems such as late deliveries and also I was a member and then I had to register again, which pissed me off and left me with concern as to my card details. However that is all sorted and my latest purchases have been delivered on time.
To me it all depends on availability, if one record store has a record I want that the other hasn't then I use the one that'll get it to me the quickest, I hate waiting :D
Shop around, I've found many tunes from searching all over the net.
Peace

Danja

both red eye, and boomkat have provided me with flawless service over the past 3 years.

chemical also.

i shop at all 3 regularly, each have their flaws and benefits. i think there is no such thing as the 'ideal' record store, and it's already pretty damn cool to be able to order cutting edge music online from the comfort of your own home, without having to sift through kilos of uninteresting vinyl.
