Well from the songs in your signature, it sounds like you do make dubstep haha
I used to make dubstep, like, a year ago, but then I went down to 130bpm, then I started veering away from halftime, then I started getting more ambient, now I make stuff anywhere from 80-140bpm that's closer to UK Funky/Garage and lo-fi ambient than Dubstep.

Yeah I recently changed all the genre names of my tunes on soundcloud from dubstep to "bass music." I think that's the best way to put it, although I still say I'm a primarily dubstep producer on my Soundclou description, because to be honest, I am!
