James blake uses samples in kontakt with a crazy effect chain to get his piano type key sounds :)

Not the Vermin you think, lol.
I wasn't sure what to call it since I'm a complete amateur at this, I guess the wobble at 0:55, since I got the time wrong :p

oh, lol :P Well to me it sounds like maybe a square and a saw for the mids, but just experiment loads with filters, like moving between different filters, move between a bandpass and a lowpass for example in massive or something. You'll also want to play around with different distortion and turn the intensity down on the square wave a lot, maybe put an envelope on the intensity and the wt position? Also put some chorus on it, and a simple sine wave for a sub would do well. For this type of sound this thread is the shit: http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=194041
obviously its gonna take loads of experimentation, but that should push in the right dungeon sound area ;)

This one should be simple for some of you :)

It's the sound at 1:24, it appears again in it's rightful spot in the sequence throughout afterwards
it's that high pitch, detuned type lead/chord/pad. it sounds simple but having a hard time replicating it, or at least in the similiar alley, anyone mind helping me out? It sort of sounds like it's sidechained with some delay and reverb but I am not sure how to create the very sound in massive
thanks in advance :)

Sounds like albino to me, there should be some presets that are close, maybe layer that with a string ensemble

Sounds like multiple octaves playing a dark chord with lots of vibrato. medium attack, use multiple voices and detune, some distortion and chorus. I can't say for sure but you could probably achieve it just using saws.

yeah but it sounds like it might have a square in it, no? kinda like a hoover sound mixed with the traditional saw vibrato.

really cool synth though. id be cool if someone more advanced could try and make it and let me know in a little more detail how to get it that eire sounding.

Could be. To me it sounds like there's a sine under there to give it more weight.

edit: I'm working on something right now. I'll post it when I'm finished.

the bass in the intro that sounds like a "woooo".

I've heard it from enough producers, so hopefully someone here can help me out.

Got it. It's not exactly. I can't get the lower octaves to sound quite right but I feel like I got pretty close. 2 instances of massive, 1 instance of kontakt, and some eq lovin'. Let me know it it's close enough for you and I'll give you the details.

Hey there!

I am in trouble with making a decent midbass. I mean I try to find something like this:
I DO NOT want the exact copy of this, but something like this. I work in reason, and however I try to make it, It's always too much distortied, or simply sounds disgusting.
Can someone please help me out how to start making good mid basses?
iv made basslines simular, from my experience, it tends to consist of using 2 or more ssawtooth waves, slightly detuned, with high number of voicings, if your using massive run it through the scream filter, you could event ry through bandpass or reject before it hits the scream filter. use the classic tube (i think its called) distortion on the fx, and mess around with the other type of distortions on the ins effects of massive which is the fx at the bottom. i found furtherly soft clipping, adding quadrafuzz and slightly disorting the sound and using chorus on the sound gives the result! hope this knowledge is of any use!
UK garage tune --- feedback would be appriecated ! feel free to mail me about collabs or for general production chats!
