Burial - ashtray wasp

Post by unwind » Thu Feb 16, 2012 10:18 pm

If he cut this tune at 7:27 he could've put the rest on the EP as another bloody tune. Or is this just burial's way of saying here have two tunes for the price of one? :corntard:

Great release, not saying I don't like it, just seemed a bit wierd.

Kode 9:

“He give’s me this little 15-20 minute segments and I’ll go though and pick the one’s I like, and he’ll turn those into tunes. Or… I’ll just listen to them as a whole.”

Apparently this EP is that ^

I think if Kode 9 went through my unfinished projects and told me which one’s to finish I’d eventually get something done too

should of made the end segment the whole tune. get use to it being what ashtray wasp would sound like from the rinse cut.

The end of this tune is probably my favorite thing he's ever put out. That sliding xylophone thing gets me evertim.

sounds like he dropped his sampler in the sand when the 2nd section kicks in around the 7'30'' mark :6:
