Easy guys,

Got my CDJ200's a few weeks back, and after a fair bit of practicing i've finally put together something i figured was worth uploading..
focused more on the tracks/mixing rather than a good DJ performance, made a few tiny errors (like running track 5 too far into track 6, didn't fit too well..) and had a few crossfader issues, was playing up a bit, but apart from that, i generally thought it was a decent mix, although i went from deepish sounds, i'd call it a tearout mix i guess. free DL if you enjoyed it, would appreciate comments and feedback if you think you have something that i don't already know (not trying to act like i know it all, but i know the mistakes i made )

firstly, great work maybe in the future mix your tunes later on in the mix, as to have other tunes back them up.

had a listen... I like your track choices. one thing that stands out to me is layering (in the first half at least)... Like... I could tell when you dropped in a new track because suddenly certain frequencies doubled in volume (eg your high hats and cymbals) ... and sometimes i could hear your kicks and snares not quite being in time? I guess this is something you'll get back at over time! the last half of your mix was excellent, loved it.

overall, good work keep it up

yeah i feel you man, cheers, originally i was going to mix some other dubs of mine in later, but all mixing i've done has been based on vibe and throwing one of mine in wouldn't have worked, also feel the layering thing, and some other volume issues were based on my xfader, pretty poor mixer, xfader works alright, but ain't brilliant haha.

although i couldn't really hear kicks and snares being out of time, or not the extent of trainwreck atleast, might have been a tad out with warning/rhythm, but if there was anything major and unbearable i wouldn't have upped haha.
