Protools 7.4

Post by Draze » Mon Feb 27, 2012 11:14 pm

Hello everyone...I'm new to the forum so I figured I'd get the the first thing out of the way---yup, I use protools 7.4|HD. In the past I've usually produced hip-hop to rock, to even some dance...cough cough-country-cough... etc...but I'm getting tons of requests to work on implementing dubstep styles within clients tracks. I've never been one to fake knowing something so for the most part I pass the majority of these incoming projects on to one of my partners......but I'd really like to start learning. Protools is the daw I'm familiar with so I'd like to stick with it, at least until I absolutely find myself struggling to keep up with the dubstep workflow...Could someone answer something for me...? :dunce:

I'm having trouble assigning the mod wheel in general on my korg kronos to use in albino 3 ( Again, my DAW is PT 7.4 ). I can use the ESC with my kronos using albino, but this MOD Wheel anomaly is killing me... :u: I've exhausted my knowledge but this is how my matrix window looks in Albino 3.

LFO ------> Filter Cut Off
MOD Wheel -------> LFO Speed

Shouldn't I now be able to control these set parameters using the MOD Wheel? I wasn't sure if this not working has something to do with "ESC". Do I have to assign the MOD Wheel to something using "ESC" as well? I'm sure someone has answered this a million times...please, a million and one times would be so appreciated!! :mrgreen:

I don't see what steps you're missing to be honest...
When I get to the studio I'll dork around and try and find the problem.

Meanwhile: http://duc.avid.com/
there are some really smart posters there and I'd reccomend joining and asking.
