I'm a big fan of Venetian Snares but I'm not feeling this. I even like a fair bit of stoner/sludge/doom metal but it ain't about the Ozzy vocals.
On a similar breakcore artists doing dubstep note, Scotch Egg's got a couple of dubstep-style bangers. He said they were coming out soon but I didn't quite catch the name of the label, something like Lord? They sounded absolutely sick when he played Leeds a month ago. Big tings

Got to agree with badgatek....Feeling venitian snares but not hooked on this.....The ozzy vox is a bit cheese really....not about using something so well known...disappointing in my opinion.....hopefully they will continue to develop their sound, i'll watch out for future tracks with interest.

Strangeness vibes here. I think if it was not Snares, peeps might not hate on it so much. I admit, his productions can be hard to handle if you are not in the mood, but this doesnt really sound like him too much. He seems to be branching out a bit in his sound, with this and his Last Step project (which is a bit more acid). Big up diversity!
it's strange some of his stuff is gold whereas some of it is complete shit

Not really, he showed his love for dubstep a few times before, even though he hadn't released anything like this before. Also I don't think it's accurate to call him a breakcore producer, he's done a lot of different things in the past, and breakcore or not, he's responsible for some of the most complex and beautiful pieces of music ever.User Group wrote:did someone say bandwagon?
That said, I'm not really feelin these clips either.
Agreed on all counts. It just doesn't sound good. no vibes. I am a long time VS fan though but this I have to say I am just not able to get into. I tried listening to the clips more only to find they actually got worse instead of better.Badga Tek wrote:I'm a big fan of Venetian Snares but I'm not feeling this.
