Alternative Parametric Eq for Logic Pro?
I've seen in tutorials where they automate the eq (which has 5-7 parametric bands) in a way that's not quite the same in Logic Pro. Is there a plugin available ( free or paid ) that allows me to do what you can do in FL Studio's fruity parametric EQ2, or the on-board EQ in ableton.
Please get back to me, as I've run out of places to look.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Alternative Parametric Eq for Logic Pro?
Why don't you just use 2 eq's in your plugin chain,if i run out of bands i just add another channel eq.
Re: Alternative Parametric Eq for Logic Pro?
Also you can automate all the function's with logic's eq.
Re: Alternative Parametric Eq for Logic Pro?
I find logics eq is all i need really, though I use a psp plugin to boost mids
Re: Alternative Parametric Eq for Logic Pro?
the fat EQ in logic is another option.

The technique I want to do with EQ'ing is outlined in this vid, if you can please help me figure out how to mimic this in Logic Pro, that would be righteous.

got a much broader boost Q-- way more musical.crutch wrote:Sharmaji wrote:the fat EQ in logic is another option.

OP logic's EQ can easily do this, just use high Q values.

Re: Alternative Parametric Eq for Logic Pro?
much appreciate the reply! but can you please check out the video I posted, and give me some pointers on how to do what the fruity parametric eq 2 ( in this case) does, to the formant eq shape.
Re: Alternative Parametric Eq for Logic Pro?
1. set up a bunch of peaks and troughs on your EQTokerCoughin wrote:much appreciate the reply! but can you please check out the video I posted, and give me some pointers on how to do what the fruity parametric eq 2 ( in this case) does, to the formant eq shape.
2. add another big peak
3. automate the frequency of the other big peak up and down
