new episode showed how flash forwards shouldn't be used.
breaking bad is an example how it should be.

Its ok but rick and shane are really starting to get boring, shane is clearly a better leader.

The guy who was gonna shoot his supposed best mate when he had his back turned, and shot a perfectly fine dude just so he could get away himself? Yeah, I'd love him as a leader.

I've seen Season 1 but I heard season 2 is quite shit and that there's nothing really happening... Is this true?

Probably been covered already, sorry if it has.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, plus rick wasn't a fanny in the comic and shane died early on. The tv show is pretty poor in comparison.

Looks like Rick might be getting more of a badman though. (NOTE: I ONLY WATCH IT WHEN IT'S ON TV IN THE UK, PLEASE DON'T SPOIL IT), but in last episode, looks like Lori might've been trying convince Rick into popping Shane off.

I think with Rick though, it doesn't have to be desperate measures, I think he still wants some semblance of civilisation still (staying at the farm, etc.), whereas Shane would just be living off mushrooms and hiding in a tree 24/7.

I really like The Walking Dead overall, I think a lot of the criticism is unfair when they say "nothing's happening" as I think they expect it to be a non-stop flood of zombies turning up at their doorstep, but that would quickly get boring. Might work in a 100-minute film, but not in a 13/14 hour series. Plus when "nothing happens" it gives the impression of security, which gets broken when the Zombies do show up. It's not just about some dudes shooting zombies non-stop (which, as I said, would get boring), it's about people trying to deal with the new world.

Andrea can fuck off though, she racks me seriously off.

I suppose because i read the comics first ive been expecting too much from the series on tv. The characters were a lot different and things happened in a more realistic way. The thing i dont like about the farm in the tv series is how exposed it is on all sides, a foot high fence wouldnt keep anything out. They waste too much ammunition aswell. The effects and zombie make up is really good though and i have enjoyed it mostly. Andrea was a good character in the comic, she is too annoying in the series.

Really wanna read the comics, but tracking down somewhere that has all the "books" in stock is hard, plus they're pretty expensive. Come in so many formats too, individual issues, then volumes, then books, then compendiums (I think :corntard: )

From the comics, I really do think that what Dr. Jenner told Rick was that you come back as a zombie whether you die from a zombie bite or not. Nobody has died from a zombie attack since then, and when Rick shot those 2 guys in the bar, he held his gun over his head after he was already clearly dead, but then pulled away. Can't think of what else he would've known.

And, as in the comics, I do think Carl will end up killing Shane.

Perhaps that's why in the last episode when they were looking at those two dead zombie cops and Shane said 'doesn't seem to be any bites', Rick quickly tried to change the subject by saying, 'must have been scratched.' -q-

The virus re animates any dead corpse if it was bitten or not. Dont see why that should be kept as a secret from the rest of the group, surely it would be in everyones favour if he just told them the truth.

Guess it would just blow pretty hard to know that you're gonna become a zombie at some point. People might just give up.

Just can't think what else a doctor studying it would've told him. At first I thought it was that Lori is pregnant (after he took the blood tests from everyone), but it seemed that Rick didn't know that when she told him.

why did dale have to die? the only nice guy left.

after we've decided that carl is a shit character they could have let him die 5 episodes ago and let him come back as uber-carl.

Yo, just floating the idea here of having a UK Walking Dead thread (for those who only watch it on the tv and don't download it) and a US Walking Dead thread.

Gonna have to forget that I saw that ^^^ Why do I look everytime

Or maybe putting SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS :corncry:

Two episodes left to go, wonder what direction its going to take. A whole series wasted on that shitty farm.
