It was like the first tune I ever attempted remixing when I was like 18. Memories. :U:
The story was the lyrics are one big LSD reference, dunno if there's any truth to that, but it was cool at the time.

Now I listen to this again/watch the video, it is definately about acid.

There is a reason for this - my office is quite close to the boating lake at Dorney that is being used for the Olympics. We got an email round saying that there will be an estimated 38,000 people going to the site every day whilst the Olympics are on, which would make my commute to and from work a fucking nightmare.

hahah i listened to the original of that the other day coz i used to have the cd as a kid, all i could remember was the intro (high pitch voice) and i thought, corrr that musta been a banger of a tune.
only to listen back and realise how terribly depressing it is hahah

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

Am i imagining it or did the original go to no1 in the charts?

yes, everyone heard the high pitched intro bit and went and bought the single, it got to number one and then when everyone listened to the whole song in its entirety the nation collectively went "what? did we just make this number one?"
