I have no doubts in my mind that this classy young lady attends dubstep raves.

Re: Brostep / Skrillex and the Forum.
I have a considerable amount of respect for people who have helped develop the genre in its early days to what it has become today. Without people like that there would be no Dubstep today, pure and simple. It is something a lot of people here can be proud of being a part of.
However the musical/genre snobbery that comes with this at times can be a little embarrassing. Almost like a father bringing up a child but then refusing to let it grow because he doesn't want him/her to change
As unpopular as this may sound to many on here, I think the ridiculous term BROSTEP should be dropped altogether. I am not asssuming everyone here lives in the bubble of this forum on this subject. But absolutely NO one out there reffers to their musical taste as Brostep, NO artists reffers to their music as Brostep, it is an derogatory term only use by people who want belitte peoples tastes in the newer Dubstep acts. So why are we, the minority on here using it?
The step forward (as some others have mentioned) is for some individuals here to be a little bit more open minded, accept the different variations of the genre and not to give people who post about the newer acts such a difficult time. I think the mods do a great job on this fourm, but I really do feel they could do more on this area.
Let the forum represent the Dubstep sound as it was 5 years ago, and let the forum represent the sound properly as it today.

Hey man, nobody has mentioned this before, big up for being the one to step up and say it. Seemed like brostep wasn't doing very well, so any help it could have was welcome.Mysteriis wrote:I have a considerable amount of respect for people who have helped develop the genre in its early days to what it has become today.
