Exothermic reaction has that like snare that comes out every other snare. Gets me every time

Yea i know what you mean. love that. also N Type & Cyrus - conscious. Everytime i hear someone mixing and i hear that snare, just know the tune instantly.

Indeed, that is a seriously good snare.

I noticed, while at JMT last night, that the snare in Wu Tang Clan Ain't Nothin Ta Fuck Wit, when played on a decent system, indeed ain't nothing to fuck with.



And within dubstep (sort of), it's Fram by Blawan. That boy knows his snares.

that snare is terrible. if that wasnt a deep medi release, it wouldnt get the hype its been given. real talks

Sounds nothing like anything I've ever heard on UKF... It has way too much character and tonal quality for that, most of the UKF snares you're talking about just sound like over-compressed white-noise

the knowledge is a great shout.

i know it's not really a snare (well it's definitely not) but that sort of metallic (keg bashing) sound in iceman by perverse. love that sound, hope they are actually hitting a metal barrel with a plank of wood or im gonna be so disappointed...
