Ditto to what I just mentioned to another guy about boosting mids, as I find they're the first thing to get completely lost on crappy systems like cars. In this case I'm talking about the intro strings, that synth in the breakdown, snare (but not quite as much), etc. The vox samples are a bit out of place and raw to me, maybe try running them through a compressor/eq or filter/delay to get them to sit more inside and make them a bit more interesting. Keep it up!

Like the strings sample at the start, works well with the bass drone to get some atmosphere going, but the hats are too low in the mix when they come in. Same with the kick/snare at 34s, far too quiet and I can barely hear them over the drone thats taking up the headroom.

Sorry for the stupid question, but I haven't been able to find a decent answer. When you say "boost the mids," what exactly do you mean? I'm not in tune with music jargon (pun somewhat intended).

Feelin the vibes at the start, but by the reverse cymbal and where the drums come in.. The drums needs more volume. Cymbals are very low, and I miss a really hard kick drum right here. the snare is rather low too. And the guitar-arp is rather high again, it should be lower. The vocals at the ending is rather random and doesn't fit very well to the song.

I think you can make something great in the future, just look at all the constructive feedback you get. :) Follow the tips and stuff, and you'll manage just fine! :) How long have you been producing?
Don't be afraid of who you are, listen to the music you like! Don't follow the mainstream. :)

I've been playing around with Logic for a while, but only started producing with a little more "gusto" for about 4-5 months. Thanks for the tips and positive feedback!

Ah, sorry about that man. By "boost the mids", I mean more volume to things in the middle of the frequency spectrum (for me personally I usually mean 500hz-4khz). You could always go back in and do that stuff in the mix stage, where you're inside logic and changing the channel volumes and EQing things in the session, but you can also do it in the master stage with any kind of EQ by adding a slight bump (maybe +1 or 2db) to the 500hz-4khz range. I always find things like car systems are already pretty hyped in the lows and highs, so if your tracks mids don't stand strong on fairly flat monitors, they get lost on speakers (its true for my listening environment at least). Hope that helps.
