It would definitely be a Cardiacs song but really cannot decide between these 3:

It would need to be something complex and nuanced imo, which is why I think burial would be a good choice.

Would have to be a tune off Voodoo by D'Angelo for me, maybe One Mo Gin or The Root. If it was a case of "take one album with you to a desert island' it'd be that one.

Just to clarify, you meant we can listen to it whenever we want but we can only listen to that one song? Not that we have to listen to it on repeat for the rest of our lives? Cos everyone's acting like you'd be strapped in a chair and forced to listen over and over again... Picking that silent classical 'piece' (load of pretentious wank imo) would be a massive waste. Listening to the song once every day or two wouldn't drive you insane...

Yeah it's not on repeat, it's just that al other music is blocked out from your life.

I'd struggle to pick between these three. It'd probably end up being Xtal due to the scandalous prices of Tom And Jerry records on Discogs. Damn being born in '93.

dlp 1.1
If this is the future, it seems highly livable: shiny, cool and comfortably dissonant. Like a low dose of ketamine in an empty, luminous airport hall in northern Japan, eating avocado and waiting for the universe to arrive.
