watched last night, loved it. eerie vibe, synth heavy soundtrack, slow pacing - that's it, i won't give any spoilers. also, don't watch the damn trailer as it gives away the whole movie.
Watched this too last week. Really enjoyed it.
Couple of heavy scenes in it which I wasn't expecting.

Prefer the motel - the fucking menace when he puts on his gloves and locks the door is next level.

La Haine (Hatred)
Image
Wasn't as good as I expected to be. Still good, beautifully shot, intriguing story line ect. I was just very aware I was watching Vincent Cassel, and it had been hyped up to me for so long... I guess I was just expecting more.
Perhaps the message has lost a bit of potency in the past 17 years due to it being done in other films.
Still give it 6.5/10

Yeah, I reckon it's just because that message has been done a hundred times since 95 and so, as I said, it lost a bit of potency.

Starship troopers 2.

Image

The first one wasn't exactly great so i wasn't expecting much but i was still surprised at just how bad it is.
Extremely low budget, poor acting, no real storyline, even the camerawork is amateur.
So bad it's not even worth watching for jokes when you're pissed/high.

The Inbetweeners.

It was entertaining. Suprised at lack of tits though. Too many willies, not enough tits.

I thought the acting and the storyline were great, Loved the way the plot unfolded slowly throughout. Had me guessing all the way through!

Pretty fucking dark, tbh. It's an ok film but I don't think i'd recommend it to anyone, anywhere, ever. Pretty. Fucking. Dark.
inb4 'oh you think that's bad you should watch x, y or z.' No thanks, buddy. :t: That was enough.

thats what happened to me an the Baader Meinhoff Complex

so dark, i was also in a shity mood when i watched it but yeh, too dark, good, and obviously its based on a true story but the true story is just so bleak and grim that i wouldn't want to watch it again
