Recommend a subwoofer!

Post by Fagerdahlen » Sun Mar 11, 2012 5:17 pm

So i'm about to buy a subwoofer for music purpose, and maybe to check how the sub fits in the mix etc..
My budget isn't very good, so some where between 200-300 dollars.

I have a couple of Samson Studio monitors, so something that fits well with them I suppose :)

I've looked at a Argon sub 10. Don't know if it's good but it has gotten good reviews and is recommended by Swedish "Hifi-club" = http://www.hifiklubben.com".
So come with some suggestions!

Thanks

you could try getting headphones which produce down below 20hz. would be a cheaper way of seeing how your deep bass sounds.

Yea it does look alright. :)

I'll probably use it the most when i'm listening to tunes and making sure bass-levels are good in my mixes. :)
And honestly I think that any sub over 100 bucks will do.. No human, no matter how good are going to hear if the frequency range is 30-150 or 20-130..
This will do for now.
