I'm watching it now, lets see how good this is...

Description for those who don't know what it's about....

"Five DJs turn the tables on the history of music in the RE:GENERATION MUSIC PROJECT. Follow DJ Premier, Mark Ronson, Skrillex, Pretty Lights and The Crystal Method as they remix, recreate and re-imagine five traditional styles of music. From the classical perfection of the Berklee Symphony Orchestra to the bayou jams of New Orleans jazz, our five distinctive DJs collaborate with some of todays biggest musicians to discover how our musical past is influencing the future. The documentary, directed by Amir Bar-Lev, celebrates musics past, present and future by candidly revealing the artists creative process as they use technology to mix the musical styles of generations and bring to light the originality of electronic music."

Not a prob, I just finished it and I thought it was really interesting/shows how much people really do love music.

It was kind of boring but the same time wasn't. Pretty cool to see "Pretty Lights" repping Colorado and seeing the Red Rocks in that film...such a beautiful venue.

Wish it showed more of the production side of things though....like what they do with their DAW's etc....it kind of skipped around a shit ton.

lol ditto!
It seemed more of a film that was based about different genres and how all in all, we're not all that different from one another!

Seeing how every tune took form was awesome.
But the one I was most surprised about was Pretty Lights
I am not a fan of country, but damn was that a tune!

All in all great film! :)

I saw DJ Premier using Pro Tools, Sonny aka Skrillex using Ableton, Pretty Lights using Ableton, from what I remember I think Mark Ronson was also using Pro Tools, and The Crystal Method I don't quite remember... :W:
