I've always liked Spike Milligan's headstone:

"I told you I was sick"

Nice. Voltaire was awesome.

I've always liked:
Aldous Huxley wrote:LSD, 100 micrograms I.M.
Apparently his wife obliged. Not a bad set of spectacles with which to see the final journey.
Meus equus tuo altior est

"Let me eat when I'm hungry, let me drink when I'm dry.
Give me dollars when I'm hard up, religion when I die."

^^Something along the lines of "Rub, rub... fan, fan.... drink, drink" NOT "kiss me, Hardy"

He did say "Kiss me, Hardy" and Hardy obliged, but his famous last words were "Thank God I have done my duty". His actual last words are as above.

Everyone used to say it was "Kismet Hardy", but it seems that's just because they were heartless homophobes that couldn't get their heads round a mortally wounded soldier wanting a bit of affection from his closest comrade.

I hope I get a kiss on my deathbed.
