12inch Alpine Type Rs with Bose 6x9s and tweeters. I wouldn't have it any other way. People who over-boost the bass in their car, and don't have proper mids are total knobs.

You can't turn the bass down low enough in a Prius, whenever I play some bassy stuff through
that it just starts shaking.

Must be like 10% of some of those tuner douche cars but either way, it sounds crap.

they're idiots

my 98 328i came with the upgraded harmon kardon sound system and i've been really happy with it so i haven't needed to upgrade it. except for one of the subs that's blown out :?

Haha yeah, first thing that popped into my head was the Ali G scene, and the one Pistons posted is like Ali G and Ricky C freestyling.

I have a stock 8" sub in the rear I modified. It's plenty imo, plus it's a hatchback so that helps.

I agree it's beyond annoying/dumb when people roll with windows down and so much bass that the car vibrating is louder than the actual music.

my old skyline had 2x12s, but the sound was so shit, was way too much tbh

then my STI RA had a single 12 in it, wasnt very loud from the outside (which is what i like) but pumped inside... perfect for the high as fuck drives home after uni

i dont know how any head can live without at least one sub in their car.. how can you enjoy your music without bass? ive got 2 10" re audios at about 150rms each, with infinity kappa speakers, and a 5 channel amp. it sound pristine, great quality and the ability to get some serious punch on demand :P the only thing i can complain about is the midbass (around 95ish-200ish) hz really isnt there. i was considering getting a pair of midbasses but that was before i sunk all my money into production. i dont see myself spending money on the system on my car until i get a new one. listening to getdarker or any dubstep at all is just so unenjoyable without at least 1 sub!

depends on the year, for a few years they had a really aggressive fin-like scoop, pretty fuckin nasty. i think that was like in this 04-06 models or something, but before and after that they are sexy. the new models are gorgeous

yea ive always prefered evo's.... but my STI had a lockable diff & adjustable suspension STANDARD....

as well as that, it weighed only a tiny bit more than an rx7

so it pretty much ate everything on the road....
only time i EVER got pulled back was against an increadibly well tuned r34.... i cried a little
