Yes. I'm about to spliff. I don't know anyone who doesn't like to spliff at the end of a night. It's all about getting home and comfortable and spliffing.

Sorry to bother you, but do you perchance have a "spliff" or cannabis that I can "toke" on? Many thanks.

See I'm the polar opposite, I can't stand Steve Coogan and thought 24hr Part People was a travesty. Whereas Human Traffic was pretty on the money with very sharp observational humour from writers obviously knee deep in the scenes they were writing about.
:z:

Human traffic perfectly captures the feeling of going out with your mates and getting trashed
what this guy said. showed it to my girlfriend at the time and throughout the film she exclaimed "haha that's just like us".
fuck skins and all that dogshit that's 'real for young people', the guys who write that stuff have absolutely no idea what the club scene is like these days

I love the band Skrillex, they have so much talent.

Post by OfficialDAPT » Fri Mar 16, 2012 5:34 pm

(I know Skrillex is only one person), but now that I have your attention, I'd like to ask for some advice. I'm currently working 72+ hours a week to get money for college, but I don't know what I want to do. I really enjoy music production but I don't know if I'm good enough at it to make a career out of it. All my friends say my shit is amazing, but I know in reality its just average. I've been producing for 5-6 months and during the last month, I haven't had time to work on any tracks and it's killing me. I've contemplated quitting one of my jobs and working more on production, but I don't know if that's worth it because I don't know if I can make it big (By big I mean make a living off it.) Btw, I'm 18 and living at my parents house still. Any advice for me?

tbqh i don't support many people who go into music to make a living off it, you should keep it as a hobby

but if you truly love it, and feel you need to do it to have meaning in your life...then i feel that nothing i could say would change your mind on the matter either way, n you should go for it

If you're 18 I would say go find yourself a career. Just look on youtube/the dubs forum, there's thousands of producers who are doing exactly what you're doing. Not to be a downer, but the odds are hugely against you. Keep it as a hobby, find a job that can provide for you that you don't hate.
