problem after updating ableton

just updated ableton and i'm having a problem. any sound with reverb or delay has an unwanted automatic feedback. for example, if i play a single hi hat with reverb, it will have a 3-4 second tail on it. doesn't make a difference what setting the reverb or delay is, there is still that tail!

anyone know what's causing this? :?

already asked this in the ableton forum, but nobody responded.

Try going back to 8.2.6, as 8.2.8 seems to be a little buggy IMO

I had several crashes after installing 8.2.8. It seems to be buggy as hell :evil:

What's the new version do different (is it just bug fixes)? I think I’m still on 8.1 or an early 8.2

I always hesitate to update things as soon as an OTA update comes out due to bugs and glitches... which sucks when you have a few projects you want to finish. But if there's some new stuff I just can't miss than I’m on it.

yea it's just bugs. i was on 8.2.1 prior. still haven't found a solution to my problem :x
