I'll be completely honest,i would be very interested in getting reason if this ends up really good.I went off reason around 4 because logic and 3rd party plugs for me was just the real deal but this could put reason well and truly back on the map for me.

really thinking about buying reason 6 now and using it as my main DAW again.

Found some middle ground then. Can't help but think they are just being incredibly stubborn though. There's already too many formats I think... I'm curious on the price of the extensions. Unless they are much cheaper than the other available formats, it seems a bit redundant. I wouldn't buy a plugin that can only be used in 1 host if there's another format of it that can be used in many. That's assuming developers will offer the same plugins in Reason format, and not just make all new ones specifically for it. It will probably be a mix of both once more and more devs jump on, if they do. I'd be curious to see some demographic data on Reason users.

agreed... would be abit shit if it was JUST a bunch of reason-only plugins

hopefully they're gonna get some people in to do new fx.... seriously, the only thing ive never liked about reason is the stock fx you get (then again, i will most likely rewire so i'll just stfu haha)
