If you are a 'real dubstep' lecturer, watch this.

Post by samdam1 » Fri Mar 23, 2012 10:52 am

Any one of you who are out there on Facebook, YouTube or Soundcloud telling everyone what is real and what is not real dubstep and embarrassing themselves should watch this video. It's just so fucking true. :)

I'd like to add a nice line before yo watch, get the fuck over yourself.

Cheers! :D :corndance:

Hahaha nah! Personally I don't give a fuck, but if those people do get the fuck over themselves, they can experience so much more wonderful music! :) Benefits them in the end. Meanwhile theres me and millions of others with open minds raking all dat naice music in :)

So i'm guessing you are a... dubstep... critic? :u:

It's really funny how easy it is to tell the people that are subject to this issue. Always the ones to comment back in an offensive tone. Whysomad?

So basically: MY CAR IS NOT A CAR BECAUSE IT IS MOTORISED AND IT ISN'T PULLED MY A HORSE! OHHH FUCK NO WAY!!

Times changed... I really wish my car was a car :'(

Off to the mechanics tomorrow to get my engine removed, then I'll be off to my great great great aunt's stables to get a horse to pull it along.

NOW THAT will make my car, a car... OFCOURSE! :D

What a strange analogy.

And that would make it a cart, not a car. What would you remove from Dubstep to make it more Dubstep-y?

It's a nice analogy, presented by the one and only... - :dunce: -

I wouldn't remove anything from dubstep... I'm just talking about the guys on all newer soughta dubstep songs that have evolved by the likes of Excision, Doctor P, Skrillex, Borgore and the list could go forever.
All them guys commenting showing their hardcoreness by saying "This isn't real dubstep" and then they ALWAYS add the same thing "Real dubstep is Benga, Skream and Coki" fucks sake, they are like little ants following each other around.

If I put some real dirty ass filth into the basic fundamentals of dubstep and maybe at 1 extra bpm and make the track sit around the 200hz zone its still fucking dubstep. Like, if I put a hat on a cat, and shave its tail, and put some little boots on it, its still a fuckin' cat right? LOL

No, it goes like this:

Person 1 has an electric car.
Person 2 has a "real" car (with diesel or petrol engine).

Person 2 thinks an electric car isn't a "real" car because it lacks a traditional engine.
Person 1 says it's still a car because it has 4 wheels, brake/"gas" pedal etc etc... it's just more "evolved" than person 1's car because it doesn't need fuel.

One could argue that electric cars aren't evolved because you need to stop often to recharge them and it takes much longer than stopping at a gas station and filling up the tank.

Matter of opinion, imo.

Wow, that's easily the stupidest thing I've ever seen on this forum. But anyway... Like you said, "It's a matter of my opinion, imo" ................. LOL

What if I replace the cat's brain with a dog brain. Is it still a cat or is it a dog? :v

So your issue is with how you perceive certain people's interpretations of Dubstep?

Yes, but it's a cat that is being abused and mistreated by it's owner.

Again, another poor analogy.
