Which aspect do you not understand? It's definitely not a film to watch stoned first time as it is rather demanding on the viewer. I don't really want to spoil the film for those that haven't seen it so I'll just say that the official film title is actually 'Mulholland Dr.'. Think about what other things Dr. could stand for bearing in mind what you've seen and that may be an insight. Also, it is heavily indebted to the film Persona with the themes dealt within it (though I think explored in an original enough manner that it can be considered great in it's own right). Watch it again and if you want a bit more insight pm me.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.

hunger games. it sucked. camera work was shit. the assistant directors went fucking nuts with all the throwaway action scenes. I am sick of this steadycam bullshit where we go to another uncomfortable angle every 1.23132 seconds. fuck that.

never read the books or anything. went with shitty people.

all-around miserable experience.

Also started watching Tree Of Life... switched it off after half hour. Overly Pretentious Codswallop. And ridiculous audio.

Anyone got some documentary recommendations? Pretty much any topic is welcome as long as the quality is high.

Waltz with Bashir. <---- Amazing.
Man On Wire. <---- Fun
Super Size Me. <---- Fun
Thin Blue Line. <---- Intriguing
Grizzly Man <--- Sad as fuck
Fog of War <---- Not really entertaining but hugely informative
Bus 174 <---- Thrilling and sad
Bowling for Columbine <---- Entertaining

Those are some classics and personal favourites.

I didnt care for it much either. Slow and drawn out, didnt really go anywhere, bland music, fair acting (except the little girl, she was awful). I think it just won awards because people were like "oh look a movie that celebrates film, its amazing!"

Been on a Coen brothers spree atm, all of them were really good but i enjoyed millers crossing the best. Some of the shooting scenes were epic,
this one in particular is bad ass
