since i first got into bass music i soon found wonky and garage which were pretty big in the scene in 2010. haven't heard much wonky tunes being produced after that but solid swingy garridge grooves are still coming out on a regular basis
just can't get enough of it, i mean i do like standard dubstep, all that dungeon stuff and everything but it's the floaty, organy synths, chopped and pitched vocal snippets and the deadly groovy drums that make it really something else. it sounds so elegant, almost has a royal feel to it. every time i hear it on the radio i just stop and listen, really concentrate on the track rather than just let it pass in and out of my ears. i'd love to play it out but people don't like to hear it in the club, they rather have plain old dubstep tracks.
