What's even more amazing is the fact you still use ICQ.Firestarts wrote:![]()

I think the best way to get into dubstep is through the Dubstep Allstars series, I'd recommend vols 1, 2 and 5 over the others personally. Also Skream's debut album and the first two Skreamizms for some basics

Coming from the grime angle though 3 would seem the obvious recommendation. It's generally very short quick mixing like grime DJs tend to do.Maccaveli wrote:I think the best way to get into dubstep is through the Dubstep Allstars series, I'd recommend vols 1, 2 and 5 over the others personally. Volume 5 has even quicker mixing though, not to mention more energy and more actual grime MCs (no, not gonna count Spaceape)leyenda303 wrote:Coming from the grime angle though 3 would seem the obvious recommendation. I thought Allstars 4 was the best representative of the overall sound. Am I alone here?

As an individual volume I agree, but getting 1, 2 and 5 will give you an even better view. Shows the progression from 2step to deep and dark to energetic and wobbly.dsprainman wrote:I thought Allstars 4 was the best representative of the overall sound. Am I alone here?
