If you listen to phatty drummer on good headphones the snare sounds slightly muddy, but on good speakers its great in the mix with another tune and you dont notice it.

I usually really like Skream's snares. The snare in 'Backwards' is insane (and no, I don't think this just because it's 'loud')
i gotta agree with corny on this one, not a fan of most of his snares (basically the ones from his last few years). the ones like the snares on exothermic reaction or rigging.... they have this over the top reverb and too much white noise. sound like they came straight out of a vengeance sample pack. snares likes the one on gritty are still tasty as fuck though
