I swear when I saw him over new years 2011 he turned the turntables backwards and DJed for 2 hours straight,
Pure bliss on the dance floor, he's for sure (still) amongst the tightest in the game.
He must be fairly ambidextrous, but does anyone knows if he's a lefty?

yea, tone arm in the way, not battle, not standard, backwards... no sweat,
that's what it looked like anyway, I remember him turning both decks around,
He was still cueing on serato, just lifting the needle and dropping at the top over again between tracks.
but the tone arm was facing away from him, style points awarded!

im a lefty and that sounds really inconvenient. id have thought if he does it that way, then it's more how he's learnt to dj rather than whether he's left or right handed

This.
The only thing I do is I have to cross my arms when cueing the right deck (with my left hand) if I am going to a instant fade up on the first beat but i'm sure right handed people find it weird doing it on the left deck?
Maybe i'm just a bit special but it feels weird if my arms are not crossed.

i tend to use both my hands the same when i mix
i did have a leaning towards just using my right hand for all the equing on my mixer but i kicked that habit now cos it was stupid

never really thought about it until reading this thread but i hardly use my left hand when mixing, almost to the point where it makes it harder. gonna use my left more now, well try, it's fucking clumsy at the best of times

left hand on the record, right hand on the pitch control for me
