For wonky/beat stuff check the Fly Russia (from Error Broadcast) and Come on lets go (from Svetlana Industries) comps. Error Broadcast, Gimme5 and Svetlana are going for that sound. Can't recommend anything since I'm not really a fan, 'cept those 2 comps.

Planet Soap is/are pretty good. Got about 3 releases on Car Crash Set.

I like some breakcore but I've always been more partial to speedcore/terror.
Someone posted some Nasenbluten already. :W:
There's lots of other good similar producers dating back to the mid 90s.
DOA, Nordcore, Drokz, Akira, UK skullfuck, Skinhead (aka Horrorist etc), GFB, etcetcetc.

DOA with the Horrorist on vocals

Can someone suggest me some noise albums or compilations for someone inexperienced but looking to get into the sound?

For actual noise (not breakcore or whatever the hell some of the stuff was earlier in here) I guess I'd say

Merzbow - 1930 for hasher stuff.
Wolf Eyes - Human Animal for a good mixture of more ambient stuff, some power electronics-ish stuff

are good starting points

Really liking that stuff mate, hard to listen to but in a good way, like I want to keep on listening just to hear how the soundscape will progress. Will check out those albums cheers.

Oh and that second tune has some serious bass.

^^ Check the Whitehouse tune I've posted earlier in the thread
Come Again II comp - classic japanoise
Hanatarash - Hanatarash 3
Masonna – Shinsen Na Clitoris
Prurient stuff is all good, though I like his recent material more. Not your average noise.
some Merzbow - too many releases. I mostly like his SCUM releases

and I'd recommend Brighter Death Now - Necrose Envagelicum, Mz.412 and In Slaughter Natives (pretty much all releases). Not noise per se, more dark ambient/power electronics/industrial type things.

He's a pretty big name. As is his label. That stuff is mostly considered core n bass/crossbreed. It's basically modern hardcore/industrial hardcore mixed with dark drum & bass.

Tune of the year 2011. Seriously. SO GOOD.

I think a lot of drum & bass heads here could appreciate it. The production value and mixdowns are generally amazing and the songwritin' is too. Especially from the Outside Agency.

Should be mentioned in case people don't know The Outside Agency is aka DJ Hidden and Eye-D who have also been releasing quality dnb for time for labels like Ad Noiseam, Killing Sheep, Outbreak, Evol Intent, and loads more. Some of the better hard dnb around that doesn't get cheesy like 'skullstep'.

Thanks for reminding me about killing sheep. Favourite tune on that label:

I could fill a thread with nothing but Killing Sheep. The Tymon one I posted is probably the best piece of crossbreed I've ever heard.

And dis:

Technically Bloody Fist, but a slightly different remix (meh same tune with distortion on the kick) was released on Killing Sheep. Such a ridiculous set opener.

This was released a few weeks ago. SO GOOD HOLY SHIT.

Dj Hidden is sick. The Words Below has to be one of my favourite DnB albums ever. The ambient pieces he does before dropping the breaks are better than some of the artists i listen to who do that shit exclusively.

Think this tunes blurs the lines a bit so as to be included in this thread.

He did a collab with Broken Note recently on ADN. I didn't really feel it but others might.

Plus, he does this minimal ambient stuff as Semiomime. Its rather marvelous.

Thread will keep me content for long while. Second page is more my sorta stuff, hardcore dnb etc, but I'm down with it all.

Got Therapy Sessions and PRSPCT both coming back to the Black Swan soon, two of the best hard nights I've ever been too.

One of the best sounding rigs in the country too, stack in each corner.
