Armed with his perennial mop-top and schizophrenic microKORG keyboard, Oliver Thomas Johnson aka Dorian Concept has been something of a black sheep, ditching his classical training and heading to over to the hedonistic side of electronic music. With a full-length album on Kindred Spirits, and an EP on Ninja Tune, DC builds his sticky, electronic funk with a mind toward balancing the analog and the digital, categorizing his work, in rigorous Austrian style (he’s from Vienna) as “70% past and 30% future.“ This live set was recorded at Madrid's La Casa Encendida.
