After counting down the days for the past month, we finally see the release for the 'Nothing To Show' EP from TS7, a release which the Bradford producer has managed to perfectly showcase the wide sound of present day UKG.
The EP starts things off with the upbeat 4x4 title track 'Nothing To Show', which is perhaps one of the best tracks on the release, sampling a well known male vocal, that he has left up to you to see if you can guess. The release then dives straight into the Speed Garage sounding track 'Head of State', one which wasn't included on the audio sampler so for some of you it will be the first time hearing it, unless you regularly lock in DJ Q's 1Xtra that is, where you would have heard it get spun a number of times already. After this we hear the first and only 2-step riddim on the EP, 'Real Love'. However don't be fooled by the name and the female vocals, this one also carries one big heavy bassline. To finish things off, TS7 then ends things with a straight up Bassline track, entitled 'On My Own', which takes us back to a time when the Bassline scene was at its peak.
