Just wanted to know if anyone on here has a pewmium account and would recommend it or advise against it.
Cheers
I once convinced a couple of classmates that crocodiles can fly by using their anti-gravity cells on the bottom of their feet.
The whole update thing seems great yeah, I constantly have to delete and reupload my tracks - pains me a bit because I lose the few comments and favourites I get.lloydy wrote:I gonna get a better account sooner or later.Something i read the other day was if you get a paid for account you can update tracks so you don't need to delete when updating mixes,wips...etc
Also it will be good to get the better stats,be a bummer if you were to find you were the mainly the only person listening to your tunes.
Yeah i hear you,it is a pain to the small people like us lolmthrfnk wrote:The whole update thing seems great yeah, I constantly have to delete and reupload my tracks - pains me a bit because I lose the few comments and favourites I get.lloydy wrote:I gonna get a better account sooner or later.Something i read the other day was if you get a paid for account you can update tracks so you don't need to delete when updating mixes,wips...etc

I really want the stats thing too lol, I'm finally getting around 100+ listens per track - fucking small to most people but it's a lot to me, and the only thing know about my listeners is their mostly American
Brings me to another good point - groups, I think I may get quite a few plays/comments from submitting to groups and atm I can only submit to one. If I could submit a track to loads with a Lite account....lloydy wrote:I think a lot of it with soundcloud is just networking, but saying that i am yet to work out how the fuck to go about thismthrfnk wrote:The whole update thing seems great yeah, I constantly have to delete and reupload my tracks - pains me a bit because I lose the few comments and favourites I get.lloydy wrote:I gonna get a better account sooner or later.Something i read the other day was if you get a paid for account you can update tracks so you don't need to delete when updating mixes,wips...etc

Yeah i agree, the 1 track per group is crap.I am in about 7 now with different tracks.I can't remember what artist it was but they are in like 300 groups or something so it just opens up a lot more options for getting your tracks heard.mthrfnk wrote:Brings me to another good point - groups, I think I may get quite a few plays/comments from submitting to groups and atm I can only submit to one. if there would be an option in the lite version
i would really consider it
Yup, it annoys me quite a lot when someone's like "GREAT TRACK, REALLY COOL MAN. NOW CHECK MY STUFF OUT", and you go to their profile and see they've said the exact same thing to 10000 other people in the last day.BudSpencertron wrote:soundcloud would be nearly perfect without the spammers![]()

Saying that,i just found out if you go to the track edit option and set your track to private it gives you an option of choosing people who can still listen to it.If you select everyone you are following they receive the track in their dropbox. Also they get an email to say you have shared it with them.In my opinion a great feature of the free account but could this be seen as spamming?lloydy wrote:BudSpencertron wrote:soundcloud would be nearly perfect without the spammers![]()

I often wondered how people did that, more often than not though I take no notice.lloydy wrote:Saying that,i just found out if you go to the track edit option and set your track to private it gives you an option of choosing people who can still listen to it.If you select everyone you are following they receive the track in their dropbox. Also they get an email to say you have shared it with them.In my opinion a great feature of the free account but could this be seen as spamming?lloydy wrote:BudSpencertron wrote:soundcloud would be nearly perfect without the spammers![]()
