Someone please explain why people actually like tunes like this? I get why people like Skrillex, Doctor P, Flux Pavillion, Funtcase, Skism, Skream, Borgore, Cookie Monsta, Bar9, Exicsion etc. etc. etc.

Um yeah, people like Doctor P because its accessible, people like Cookie Monsta because its accessible and heavy and people like Borgore because its metal and fucked up wubs and quite unique, and people like all three. Not even gonna lie or be ashamed (because why would i be?) i rate a couple of Borgore tracks.

But the tunes i posted, and all artists like that, are just pitiful. Its just noise, and not in the "im doing this on purpose, im an artist and dont think of my sounds as music" way, but in a "look how fucking bad i am at music" way.

All they do is run the same note (up to three if we're lucky) through a bunch of different tired crap clichéd massive patches. No melodies, no creativity, no progression. Nothing. They always produce the flattest soundest tracks too.

And that track specifically, he didn't even bother syncing the sample speed to his own. Absolute shit.

I know that these people aren't massive forces in the scene but the fact that these get promoted and praised from people, get signed and played out - it just baffles me.

Why are people liking this?
