Re: Bass Request
Dude I really don't see the point in this whole asking how to make this sound thing. Do you think the people who actually made these sounds in the first place went and asked a bunch of kids how to make the sound? No, he just fucked around and made it. Go fucking make your own shit and stop asking fucking Dubstepforum how to become the fucking famous Dubstep producer you want to be. Obviously we don't know any more than you do because we're not signed to fucking UKF or whatever the fuck.
This fucking game of catch-up will always be prevalent and that's exactly why you can't accomplish your goals. DO NOT PLAY FUCKING CATCH-UP WITH THE CURRENT FAD. YOU WILL NEVER MAKE MUSIC WORTH ANYTHING IF ALL YOU TRY TO DO IS FUCKING DO THE SAME EXACT THING AS THE POPULAR GUY. NO ONE WILL WANT TO LISTEN TO YOUR SHIT IF IT'S EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE POPULAR GUY'S SHIT.

^ while I agree with what you're saying, not everyone is aiming to make certain sounds because they're the current "in" sound. Sometimes they just like a sound and want to incorporate it into the music they're making. I mean lets face it, nothing we're making is truly original it's all our take on something we heard and enjoyed.

This. It's not a sin to try to emulate big producers on your way to making your own style. I mean dubstep was basically created by Skream and a few other guys fucking around on fruity loops and trying to copy El-B and other dark garage artists - it's all a cycle, and it's not a huge deal if you want to try sounding like so-and-so artist every once and a while.
