Yeah, but fuck man. What are we going to do? Money is a more powerful incentive than most things. I would say enough of it is more important than any emotion, to some people.
Also, lol@ shitty comedy wobbles. That's the perfect description for them, thank you.

the scene has to splinter off and regenerate at increasingly incredible speeds...

or let it constantly bust around you like glass bubbles..and hope that people get tired at some point...

In a strange way - it makes me nostalgic for serious drug abuse...

What's so cynical about them making music that they and tons of others enjoy? Don't get me wrong; I'm sure there are guys out there that are in it for the money, but most of the guys I've heard seem to be pretty well into the music they make. Whether you and I like it is another story altogether, but just because it's not pleasing to your ears does not automatically mean they know they suck and are doing it for fame or money.

Personally i love brostep as it sounds like electronic metal. I'm sure the heavy hitters do too, but they know they're catering to a certain taste at some point. Making the same Bro-shit over 4x4 Half-time, or Dnb style drums is selling out, to me at least. I guess i can't understand being confined to one genre. For example, i make rap, deeper dubstep, brostep, progressive house, deep house, Dnb (jump up or otherwise) and Metal. Regurgitating a particular sound over what seems to be a different genre is kinda lame to me though.

The one right of Aphex Twin is, i believe, Mike Skinner a.k.a The Streets. Probably wrong though. Don't recognise the guy left of Kode 9 though.

Also, is "knowing" and "liking" the same thing? I mean, is a folk and country music fan who recognises skrillex because he saw him on TV or on the Youtube front page, but took no interest, what's "wrong with the dubstep scene"? Fucking hate these "oh yeh bro, fink u no dubstep yeh? Been dere sinse 2k7 fam, u get me? Dunno bout The Streets!" masturbatory and condescending pieces of shit.

And if someone is a fan of Skrillex, they probably know Rusko too. And a lot of them will know Skream and Benga.

Might be being stupid here, but what have Aphex Twin and The Streets got to do with dubstep anyway?

I know who Skrillex is, but I only know 6 (maybe 7?) of the 9 on the other side. Guess I'm what's wrong with the scene.

You are not at all what's wrong with the scene. Knowing some peoples faces doesnt make you king of the scene now. I hate how many people on this forum is bashing brolovers, like they don't have any clue what they like and are just into it because it's cool. If people didn't like brostep, it would not have become popular. Fact.

Lol fuck knows, just because AFX is an inspiration to like, i dunno, 55% of all electronic musicians today doesn't mean he has directly anything to do with the scene, so why was he there? Might as well put Kraftwerk there. And the Streets, possibly because its the only garage-y thing the guy who made that knew? Dunno, dubstep pioneer for sure.

A tribe called quest is one of my favorite hip hop groups, AND i've seen them multiple times, but I garentee I'd only be able to pick out Q-tip if I saw him... That poster means absolutely nothing.
