i always convert to mp3 before uploading so i can see how the compression might affect the mix i dnt think SC changes anything then, could be wrong though

no it did cuz i made an mp3 version on my desktop and it sounds much better. soundcloud must be even harder compression and didnt like my mix cuz it literally ruined one bass sound and made it sound almost non existant and weird sounding. but its whatever thats what happens when you rush i guess. im pretty sure soundcloud compresses at 128kbps, where i bounced in 320.

soundcloud compresses to 128 for streaming. If you download it though you get whatever quality it was uploaded in. That's something I need to learn. How to mix for soundcloud. My stuff always sounds shittier on soundcloud and youtube due to their compression.
